We fell in love with Rileys Fish Shack ages ago, and now it seems the world agrees. The fabulous shack in Tynemouth has been shortlisted for one of the world’s best restaurants in the Off Map Destination of the Year by the World Restaurant Awards. Those in the know love their fresh seafood and sublime food and beach front location. We couldn’t be happier for founders Adam and Lucy Riley.
They first set up with a barbecue made from old bike parts selling their divine fish dishes and then expanded with storage containers to create Riley’s Fish Shack. Gorge location, divine dishes and lots of flair and imagination, this has been a well kept secret but now it appears the word is out. Expect it to get a lot busier so plan your visit now.
