La Di Da donned its best tweeds and was lucky enough to have an exclusive look around the super fabulous Bowcliffe Hall, near Wetherby, which has one of the most exclusive private members clubs in the UK. The Bowcliffe Drivers Club not only boasts jaw dropping motoring memorabilia, priceless art and dashings of style but the rooms also used to be one of Churchill’s favourite wartime escapes where no doubt he enjoyed a few glasses of fizz by the splendid fireside with his generals plotting their next move.  The grounds include a stunning, award winning treehouse designed in the shape of an aircraft wing celebrating the legacy of the house’s original owner, aviation pioneer Robert Blackburn.

Now Bowcliffe is open for the most high society events and weddings but riff raff need not apply.
